Chapter 199 Do You Want to Fly to the Sky?
Just when Fan Lin was about to have a stimulating debate with Professor Trauni, Ron's laughter attracted Professor Trauni's attention. He and Harry were making predictions for each other, which was hilarious.
Professor Trauni turned his head to Ron and Harry.
"Let me see, dear." Professor Troney said to Ron unhappily. He quickly came over and snatched the teacup from Ron's hand. It was Harry's teacup. Everyone fell silent and looked here. Professor Trelawney stared at the teacup while turning the teacup counterclockwise.
"Falcon...my dear, you have a mortal enemy."
"But everyone knows about it," Hermione muttered loudly. Professor Trauni glared at her. "Well, it's like that," Hermione said, "Everyone knows about Harry and You-Know-Who."
Harry and Ron stared at Hermione in surprise and admiration. They had never heard Hermione speak to a teacher like this. Professor Trelawney deliberately refused to answer. Her big eyes looked into Harry's teacup again, and she continued to turn the teacup.
"A big stick... an attack. Honey, honey, this is not a lucky teacup..."
"I thought it was a bowler hat," said Ron sheepishly. "Skull... the future is in danger, dear..." Everyone stared at Professor Trelawney, dumbfounded. She turned the teacup one last time, gasped, and then screamed.
Professor Trauni sat down in an empty armchair, her shining hand touching her heart, her eyes closed. "My dear child...my poor, dear child...no...it would be better not to say it...no...don't ask me..."
"What's the matter, Professor?" Dean Thomas said immediately. Everyone stood up and slowly gathered around Harry and Ron's table, closer to Professor Troney's armchair to get a better look at Harry's teacup.
"My dear," Professor Trauni's big eyes opened dramatically, "you are in trouble."
"What do I have?" said Harry. He knew he wasn't the only one who couldn't understand the word: Dean Thomas shrugged at him, Lavender Brown looked confused, but everyone else practically covered their mouths with their hands in horror.
"Ominous, my dear, ominous!" cried Professor Trelawney, shocked that Harry didn't understand. "That big ghostly dog that roams the cemetery! My dear child, this is a bad omen... the worst omen... a harbinger of death!"
Harry's stomach twisted. The dog on the cover of the book in the bookstore...the dog in the shadows of Magnolia Crescent. Lavender Brown put her hand over her mouth too. Everyone looked at Harry.
Fan Lin stood up and saw Harry's tea cup, which indeed looked like a black dog.
"Fan Lin, that day I..." Harry looked at Fan Lin helplessly. He wanted to talk about Sirius.
"Don't think about it, Harry..." Fan Lin said quickly, "That's just a stray dog. The book says that bad luck is contagious. If it's really something ominous, I think I will..."
Suddenly, Fan Lin found that everyone was looking at him with horror on their faces.
Really, Professor Trauni's intimidating teaching still worked for him. However, it seems not as perfect as imagined...
Hermione stood up, her eyes full of badness. Like Fanlin, she certainly knew the reason why Professor Trauni did this. Even so, Professor Trauni's performance was almost no different from those street liars.
Hermione walked around behind Professor Troony's chair. "It doesn't look ominous to me," she said bluntly. Professor Troney looked at Hermione and disliked her more and more.
"I said don't be unhappy, dear, I feel that the aura surrounding you is very small. Your receptivity to future resonance is very poor." Seamus Finnigan kept shaking his head. "It looks ominous if you act like that," he said, eyes almost closed, "but it looks like a donkey from this way," he said, leaning to the left.
"When will you all decide whether I will die or not?" Harry said, himself surprised. No one seemed to want to look at him now.
"I think that's all for today's class," Professor Trelawney said, using her most indistinct voice, "Please pack your things..."
Then the entire class silently returned the tea cups to Professor Trelawney, closed their books, and packed their bags. Even Ron didn't dare to look at Harry.
"Before we meet again," Professor Troney said weakly, "I wish you all good luck. Oh, dear..." she pointed at Neville, "you'll be late for your next class, so remember to work extra hard. To catch up with everyone.”
…
"I'm really fed up..." Hermione was in a bad mood, "She's like a street liar, the kind who talks nonsense."
"Maybe what she said..." Ron glanced at Fanlin and Harry carefully, "You know, the professors at Hogwarts are all really capable..."
"I'm sorry, Ron..." Fan Lin shook his head, "Then what do you think of Gilderoy and Rocky? And, have you forgotten what Fred and George said to us."
"What did they say?" Ron asked confused.
"Ron, did you forget your brain on the bed in the dormitory when you got up today? I think you should go back and pick it up quickly, because Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class will start soon." Hermione said in a bad tone, and this class made her very unhappy.
"What's wrong with me..." Ron yelled, "I really don't remember what they said, and the credibility of Fred and George's words is basically zero, okay..."
"Ron..." Fan Lin said helplessly, "If Fred and George heard this, they would definitely not let you go. This is a must-have item."
"Must-have item?" Ron was puzzled.
"Yes... Professor Trelawney likes to make some bad predictions to students in the first class. I just don't like her talking nonsense..."
"Huh... Who knows..." Ron said stubbornly, "Prophecy is not accurate."
Fan Lin did not continue to argue with Ron, and he was pulled away by the angry Hermione.
In fact, in Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class, Ron suffered a wave of ruthless slaps from Professor McGonagall.
"Every semester, there are people who accept Professor Trelawney's death prediction, but these people are alive and well..." These are Professor McGonagall's original words... (To be continued)
